Hello, my name is Naomi Sato-Dame.
Welcome to my page!
I am studying Internet Communications at Quinsigimond Communitty College with Professor Booth and classmates. This course focuses on the human interaction of materials published and evaluates sources from online databases to write a research project. This web site contains my projects and essays.

I was born in Japan in 1966. I moved to the United State in 1994. I live in Westborough with my husband and our four children. I have maintained a full time career while bearing and raising our children until my position was terminated as a contractor for Hewlet Packard in the fall of 2008. While I enjoy be a full time mom, I decide to pursue a higher education. So here I am in my mid forties amongst much younger classmates. My major is “CIS Database”, hopefully I will have completed this course by the fall of 2010. When I enrolled in classes, I was not sure “what I wanted to do in my second career?” But I met a kind professor and some classmates who provided guidance and helped support me. That is how I came to pursue a career as a data analyst. It was an enormous decision to go back to school at my age but I am glad I did it. I was proficient with the use of computers but not the inner workings of software and how databases worked.
Chapter 2 of this class provided an interesting and accurate assessment.

According to the Pew Internet Survey “What Kind of Tech User Are you?” = Are you are a “Drafting Surfer” or an infrequent online user? When you use technology, is it for basic information gathering – perhaps looking for some news headlines? If so, It probably wouldn’t bother you to give up the internet or your cell phone. Maybe digital resources are not at the center of how you get information, keep in touch with people, or do your job.”
That is a little bio about me; please take a moment to review my projects and essays.
Best regards,
Naomi Sato-Dame
